Aero India-2013 begins in Bengaluru


Asia’s largest and one of the most important military aviation exhibitions in the world, Aero India-2013 got started in Bengaluru on Wednesday, the biennial air show will continue till 10th Feb.

The 9th edition of the Air show and aviation exhibition will be inaugurated by Defence Minister A K Anthony.

Aero India show is a premier aerospace event that attracts global aviation experts, industries and technicians.

It also provides a significant platform in bolstering business opportunities in the international aviation sector.

The opening up of defence production to private sector, have given a major fillip to the defence industry in India.

More than 700 companies and 78 overseas delegations will participate in this ninth edition of Aero India.

A range of products and services offered by the Indian defence Industry in the international market will be showcased during the show.

It provides exposure to the Indian Armed Forces, R & D personnel and young engineers to the latest technologies and advancements in the aviation and aerospace Industries.

This year, the exhibition has drawn participants from the United States, Israel, Russia, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Ukraine, Australia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Japan, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Singapore.
