Union Ministry of Women and Child Development constituted a panel to examine aspects related indecent representation of the women in mass media, here on 19th June.
The Additional Secretary and Mission Director (National Mission for Empowerment of Women) K. Ratnaprabha was appointed as the head of the constituted panel.
The panel will examine all types of indecent representation of women in Mass Media. The decision to constitute a panel was taken after the Ministry received complaints related to offensive portrayal of women in mass media.
