Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal was sworn-in as seventh Chief Minister of Delhi. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung. Besides Kejriwal, six other Cabinet Ministers of new government were also sworn in at historic Ramlila Maidan. The Ministers are Manish Sisodia, Somnath Bharti, Rakhi Birla, Satyendra Jain, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Girish Soni.
Soon after assuming charge, Kejriwal held a press conference and announced that he would keep key portfolios including Home, Finance, Power, and Vigilance.
