Legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao passed away in the early hours of 22nd January, after battling cancer for several months. He was 91.
A Dada Saheb Phalke award winner, Rao, who acted in all times hits like Tenali Rama Krishna, Devdas, Maya Bazaar and Missamma, died in his sleep. NageswaraRao is survived by three daughters and two sons. In a carrier spanning almost seven decades Nageswara Rao acted in around 250 films. He was currently acting in a film titled "Manam" which casts three generations of actors of his family.
