Three-time Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, resigned from the chair along with his council of ministers on 23rd May. Nagaland Governor Ashwani Kumar has appointed TR Zeliang as the new Chief Minister of the State.
Rio, who has been the Chief Minister of Nagaland for over 11 years, tendered his resignation following his landslide victory in the just-concluded Lok Sabha polls.
